About

Born in Aotearoa New Zealand and now based in Naarm Melbourne, I am an emerging visual artist specialising in layered, abstract mixed-media painting. My practice explores colour, texture, and gesture as forces that exceed representation, engaging with feminist theories of embodiment, materiality, and intra-action.

While art was always part of my childhood, it wasn’t a straightforward career path, and I was encouraged to follow a more traditional route. After earning degrees in Business and Health Science, I built a professional career in those fields for over a decade before following a long-held, intuitive calling to make art.

In 2017, I completed a drawing course and spent time living and working in New York, an experience that profoundly shaped my artistic practice. Since then, my work has been collected internationally, and in 2023, I was selected by the co-founder and curator of the National Emerging Art Prize (Australia) to participate in a group exhibition. This opportunity led to my first solo exhibition with Michael Reid Northern Beaches in early 2024, followed by a second solo show later that year at Brunswick Street Gallery in Melbourne. I have also participated in several group exhibitions, including a return to Michael Reid Northern Beaches in early 2025 and showing with New & Abstract in Berlin, Germany.

I will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) from RMIT University in December 2025, and have been accepted into the prestigious 2026 Honours programme.
